I found this picture and I couldn't help thinking
how much better my life is then hers was
So I decided to leave her with a little Christmas cheer
and she helped me, showing me how
blessed I really am.
If you find yourself tired and feeling down
take a minute and think of a few things you are thankful for.
You will be amazed at how much better it will make you feel.
Cheer up they said "Things could be worse."
so I cheered up
and sure enough things got worse.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season

So true... You are a wise lady my friend!
(In France we say: 'We have to see the full half of the glass' :)
Have a wonderful Xmas season too dear Deann!
Of corse - it't true: past times were very hard and arduous.
And I like your thoughts - we should appreciate the little things more.
A wonderful Holiday Season for you, my friend!
Stay well & warm greetings
Katrin
Beautiful, meaningful words and impressive picture.
There must be hope in this unexpectable world,
wishing you a happy Holiday season xx
This should be posted on billboards all over America, where we live in our temples of excess and denies ourselves little. It is so beautifully touching, Deann. I'm sending a cyberhug along with hopes you stay safe and blessed.
Thought provoking and emotive, Deann. We should all have gratitude for what we have. Bravo.
