OH OCTOBER... OMM's PUMPKIN CHALLENGE...

 "October, baptize me with leaves!
Swaddle me in corduroy
and nurse me with split pea soup.
October, tuck tiny candy bars in my pockets
and carve my smile into a thousand pumpkins.
O autumn! O teakettle! O grace!"

A beautiful image and a beautiful text, truly!
It makes me feel better about the first cold weather.
Enjoy your favorite season, my friend, and receive lots of warm, corduroy hugs.

The poem and the art piece struck my heart with so much nostalgia of Fall past and present! How we all feel those very same things each Fall! when the smell in the air changes and crisp bright leaves falling to the ground! Perfect!!
