Take me back to the ocean
to blue waves
and dark skies
where the only mirrors
are made of laughter
in the reflections off of our eyes
take me back to the ocean
where the salt purifies the air
so that each inhale
clears my thoughts
expelling any despair
take me back to the ocean
so the sea will rock me to sleep
take me back to the ocean
remind me how to dream.
