By a shady nook, one moonlit night
A leprechaun I spied
With a cap and a coat of green
A cruiskeen by his side
'Twas tick, tack, tick, his hammer went
Upon a weeny shoe
And I laughed to think of his purse of gold
But the fairy was laughing too.

Well, you followed shoo maker folklore...
Fun take on the theme!
Hahaha! A delight my dear friend!
Have a magical day! Hugs
I LOVE this little ditty. Had to look up cruiskeen. Never heard the word. AND, your blog banner is to die for. What a jolly trio!!
I hope I come across a little fellow like this in my garden shamrocks, it would make the best St Patrick's Day ever. Cartwheels by the dozen, Miss Deann.
What a cutie!!!!!!
