Orange the warm glow of a sunset
bright stripes of a tiger
the flash of a Monarch's wing
Orange like leaves dressed for autumn
firm flesh of a pumpkin
or a hat full of marigolds
Orange a slice of joy in your fingers
it's pungent hue fills your senses
happiness dripping down your chin.
Orange like my favorite crayon
makes the world a little brighter
it's the color you can taste.
