What a handsome pilot, what a tragic and piercing gaze! What a beautiful tribute to all those aviators! What a brilliant image, with those fade-outs you’re so good at!
The quote is spot on, even though everyone realises that if manufacturers made indestructible aeroplanes, they wouldn’t sell a single one because they’d be so prohibitively expensive. I suppose human lives are worth nothing in comparison. With that sort of fortune, we’d rather go and see the far side of the moon, wouldn’t we?
I hope all is well with you and your loved ones, that you aren’t suffering too much from this dreadful weather, and I’m sending you lots of big hugs and warm thoughts, my dear friend.
this is a wonderful, handsome aviator. and a genuine question in your quote! i guess, as Sim says, it is too expensive. it is amazing how the price of human life is not considered worthy of these protections. in any event, wishing you a happy week! xo

Sim has described it absolutely spot on; I couldn’t agree more.
