If I could just be a gargoyle
I'd never have to dust or toil.
I'd sit on the roof and read all day
wave at the dragons across the way.
BUT...
I would freeze in the winter
in the summer I'd boil.
The pigeons would sit
on my head and soil.
So, I guess
I won't be a gargoyle.

Yes, of course, it's better not to be a gargoyle, dear Deann!
That said, this gargoyle could not be more expressive, and I like it very, very much!
The symbolic stone book, its hypnotic stone gaze, its toothless, grinning stone mouth, its friendly stone little companion...
The only living thing is that damned pigeon. Blimey!
Hats off to you, it's a real excellent idea and super réalisation.
Best wishes and lots of hugs, my friend.
Ha
Its better not to be one
