So far away
Doesn't anybody stay in one place any more?
It would be so fine to see your face at my door
It doesn't help to know you're just time away
Long ago I reached for you and there you stood
Holding you again could only do me good
Oh how I wish I could but you're so far away

Help, I can't decide which one.

Personally, I prefer the one without the shadow. It seems to detract rather than enhance. What an wonderful image! I love it.
This is wonderful -both versions. Marvelous vintage piece that brings some sweet humor to these times-love it!
Deann - You made my day! Applause, applause, applause from my corner to you. :-)
It's so humorous. (The secon with the shadows on the wall - is my fav! ;-)
Take care Katrin
I love them both, but I like the second one best of all. For me the shadow just 'does' it.
The adorable card with the shadow. Love this...always love your art, Deann!! xo
This is genius. I love the message of the second one best. We can still be together despite what is going on.
i love it. xo
Love the shadows. This piece is brilliant!
Both are excellent, but I love the second one very much, because in the shadow 'mise en abyme' she can reach the letter, and it's very very well done my dear!
Take a deep bow!
awesome!!!
Have a lovely weekend, take care, stay safe and well xx
