O how I miss seeing Grandma in the kitchen
I knew that she was baking by that sweet, sweet smell
She took pride in whatever she was fixing.
But the secret to her cooking she would never tell.
There was something that she didn’t mind sharing
Always making plenty and for everyone to see.
Pouring out her heart and dishing out her caring.
Everybody wanted Grandma’s love recipe.

Lovely vintage stove Deann. I like the cat too.
My grandmother had a cookstove very like this one. There was always a huge pot of coffee (so strong a spoon could stand in it) available, and grandma made magic with her cookstove. She could feed from 5 to 15 at the drop of a hat at the big round table that sat nearby in her kitchen. It was the center of family gatherings. Thanks for the memories!!
