such a beautiful and haunting image.
Equally as powerful
are the many gears and wheels inside
that interweave to run the giant wind fan
Like a huge wooden steampunk sculpture
the inter workings are fascinating.

Stunning old windmill and thoughtful words.
While the windfarms of today are interesting, they lack the magic and character of the windmills of old. This is lovely.
I love the way you blended the gears into the background.
