Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
''Tis some visitor,' I muttered, 'tapping at my chamber door-
Only this, and nothing more.'

Oh this is beautifully creepy, my friend, and the quote is just the icing on the cake. I'd be afraid to go further into this room, never mind the house!
I never tire of the poem, and this is such a wonderful illustration. It's just as I picture it when I hear the words! Beautiful … and creepy!
